Spanish Kits Company | Educational dental kits
How much fun it is to brush your teeth!
At Spanish Kits we like to care for the smiles of little people. To this end we have a business line dedicated exlusively to oral hygiene. Our educational TicTacDent® dental kits are the result of many years of development, bringing to fruition one great idea: that learning to brush your teeth can be fun.
The TicTacDent® product is highly popular with schools and families. It has been part of the Oral Health Programmes organised by the Ministries of Health of a variety of regional and national governments since 1997. The look on children’s faces when they receive it is priceless.
Our catalogue of children dental kits will help you to teach the good oral hygiene habits that are fundamental for the future. From a simple dental set in a cover to a PVC toilet bag with mouthwash, we adapt our kits to your budget.
The value of good ideas
The educational dental kit concept is protected by international patent EP2087822 and was recognised as one of the 100 Best Ideas of the Year in 2009 according to ‘Actualidad Económica’ magazine. It has also been awarded the Innovation Prize at the 2010 Salon Infirmiers in Paris.
An idea which has enjoyed national and international success, as evidenced by the thousands of kits distributed by the Portuguese Government amongst its schools. A concept that will continue to evolve.
Educational, fun and environmentally friendly
At Spanish Kits we want parents and teachers to teach youngsters good toothbrushing habits in a fun and environmentally friendly way.
1. Toothbrushing technique. We have printed four friendly characters on the kit’s rinse cup showing the key actions that should be made during toothbrushing, so that they can be easily interpreted by any child of any age and any nationality.
2. Length of brushing time. We have incorporated a small, sand hourglass into the cap of the kit to mark the two minutes that should be spent brushing the teeth, as recommended by specialists.
Toothbrushing is transformed into a game, with the children having fun brushing their teeth until all the sand has run through the glass.
3. Responsible use of water. We have complied with the United Nations Global Compact since 2008, protecting the interests of children through saving water. We have included a red line in the design to indicate where to fill the water to for rinsing and to help them get used to not leaving the tap running while brushing.
The kit helps children to learn easily and almost without noticing, how to use this planet’s vital resource responsibly.
